These terms apply to animbetween.com. By using the site you agree to them. They are written to be read, not skimmed, and they are short because the site is simple.
What AnimBetween is
AnimBetween is a curated catalog of independent animation. It selects, organizes and describes titles, and plays them through YouTube's embedded player from the creators' official channels. AnimBetween does not host, copy or download any video. Every view counts on YouTube for the creator, and any ads shown in the player are YouTube's and the creator's, not AnimBetween's.
The creators' work
Every film and series on AnimBetween belongs to the people who made it. Titles, thumbnails and descriptions are shown as provided by YouTube's public API, with AnimBetween's own notes added. Being listed on AnimBetween does not imply any endorsement by the creator, and nothing here grants you any right to their work beyond watching it through the embedded player.
If you made a work listed here, or hold the rights to it, and want it removed, corrected or presented differently, email support@animbetween.com with a link to the title. Please send the request from the email address shown on the YouTube channel, so it can be confirmed as coming from the creator. Confirmed removals are made promptly.
Corrections to facts, such as a wrong credit, title or episode order, are welcome from anyone and are checked before they are made. Copyright claims about a video itself go through YouTube's copyright process, since YouTube hosts every video.
Using the site
You agree not to:
- Use the site in a way that breaks YouTube's Terms of Service, including attempting to download, record or extract video.
- Scrape, crawl or copy the catalog at scale, or use automated tools to load players.
- Interfere with the site's operation, security or availability.
- Present AnimBetween's curation as your own.
Links to YouTube, creators' channels and other sites lead to places AnimBetween does not control. Their terms and policies apply there. YouTube's terms are at youtube.com/t/terms.
Accounts
You don't need an account to watch anything on AnimBetween. If you create one, by signing in with Google, Discord, an email code or a password:
- The account is for you alone. Keep your Google or Discord sign-in, your password, and your email inbox secure, since they are how you get into your account.
- You can delete it at any time from your account page, which removes everything saved with it.
- AnimBetween may suspend or remove an account that is used to abuse or attack the site, or to break these terms. Your access to the videos themselves is never affected; they stay free to watch without an account.
- Accounts and the features they add may change as the site grows. If a feature is removed, the data it used is removed with it.
Age
You must be at least 13 to use AnimBetween or create an account. The catalog includes titles made for adult audiences, and the site is a guide, not a rating service. Use your own judgment and YouTube's own content settings.
No guarantees
AnimBetween is provided as it is, without warranties of any kind. Videos may become unavailable, change or disappear at any time because they live on YouTube, not here. The catalog and its descriptions are opinions and may contain mistakes. To the fullest extent permitted by law, AnimBetween is not liable for any loss arising from your use of the site or from content on other sites it links to.
Privacy
How the site handles data is described in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.
Changes
These terms may change as the site grows. Changes are posted on this page with a new date at the top, and continuing to use the site after a change means you accept it.
